And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.

Colossians 3:15 esv

The world, our culture, really needs a good example about now. We don’t know who to believe, and everybody seems divided over philosophy, politics, worldview, etc.

Paul reminds us that as Christians we share a common call to reveal the peace (shalom) and unity that can only come from the Triune God of Grace. After all, we are called as individuals to peace by God, who is the Author of peace; by Christ, who is the Prince of peace; and by the Spirit, whose fruit is peace.

So go out and be the peace of 42 today. And I will be peace with you!
