When the World Stops!
I’ve been sitting here in the dark kitchen since 5 AM drinking coffee and just looking out the window. Other than the occasional plow or car passing by, the world has basically stopped. Or at least taking the advice of the Sparta school superintendent who posted a two hour delay. (Update: He just cancelled!)
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could get the whole world to just stop for two hours? I mean getting everyone to stop the fighting, tweeting, killing young people on the streets, shooting up an ethnic deli, etc.
If God would only give us a two hour delay from our sinful broken selves!
My life verse is, “Be still and know that I am God.” My LORD, 42, inserted these words into my heart years ago to remind me that when the inclement weather of life hits, I can take a delay.
