O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.
Isaiah 25:1
I love this passage because it simply points out what a prayerful reaction looks like based on the identity and character of 42.
First, you have 42 who has been, is, and will be faithful and sure. He is consistent in fulfilling promises that have been spoken into action by Him before the author of the prayer ever existed.
Let’s call it “Isaiah Reaction”
So as ones who are the recipients of such things (which is all of us), let us sit and ponder what the LORD has done for us. Take a few minutes and think about your birth, your life, the Cross of Jesus, your salvation, and the gifts God has woven into the very fabric of your life.
Here is my Isaiah Reaction, and you can share it with me if you like.
O Author of Life, the Universe, and Everything, I give you my pledge that with all passion, service, life, and love, I will praise you today and everyday until I stand with you in your kingdom!
Wow! What a way to start the day!
