Yesterday, I received an email with a whole bunch of inspirational Peanuts cartoons. (Thank you Dr. Phil!)
We sometimes forget that the sub-creators of little worlds, like Charles Schultz and Bil Keane of Family Circus fame, were people of faith. As such, their sub-creations would periodically reveal the Creator the cartoonist actually served.
And then there was Johnny Hart! Hart came to belief in Jesus as the Christ part way through his career drawing B.C. His faith in our Lord, like C.S. Lewis, bled out like a tour de force upon the page.
So today, I celebrate three men of faith; their belief in 42 was out there for anybody to see.
