Today Godzilla explores the newest monster on the block, but not necessarily all that new. Let me introduce you to the Asian Murder Hornet. 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

I will send my terror before you and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out the Hivites, the Canaanites, and the Hittites from before you.

Exodus 23:27-28

הַצִּרְעָ֖ה

Pronounced has-sir-rah, YaHWeh uses hornets to drive out idol worshippers before the people of Israel. He was purging the land of false gods like Baal, and the religious practices such as animal and child sacrifices.

These hornets must have packed a punch with their sting in order to drive the Canaanites out. It took over a year, so the hornet infestation must have started out slow and built in intensity.

Since Israel sits on the Asia continent (look it up), Godzilla has chosen to call the has-sir-rah the Asian Murder Hornet!

Does anybody want to argue with the King of Monsters?
