I am not one to look back much, dwell on the past, or even get all that sentimental. But recently I found myself reflecting on my past, and it inspired me to write.

Thoughts of an old friend

Born of the same time and space

Many years have passed

Pulled by powerful currents

Now we exist worlds apart

Old Friend…
