I found out the other day that I won’t see TFS or Mrs. TFS until November because we will have opposing travel schedules. So he wanted to leave me a “going away” present before we set out on our respective adventures.

I don’t want to live in a world where libraries don’t have copies of Mein Kamph, Das Kapital, The Art of the Deal, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics, To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, Huckleberry Finn, or any Captain Underpants books on their shelves!*

*The last four titles mentioned have appeared on the challenged book lists over the last decade. And yes, I am offended that someone would try to ban Captain Underpants; these books helped my nephew to read!!!!
