For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” John 3:20-21
This is an interesting statement that comes at the end of the Nicodemus discourse.
My undergraduate degree was in Biology Education, and I minored in General Science, so my curriculum required two semesters of physics. Today’s scripture sounds like it comes from a lecture on optics.
The closer you are to the Source of the Light, the clearer you see. Some people don’t want to get close to the light because this means their true colors will be seen, and this makes them uncomfortable. Others have already had their true colors exposed, and have submitted to and find the Source of Light welcoming and comfortably.
