Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Romans 12.12
Nothing says Christian like these three elements called out by the Apostle Paul. They make me want to sing!!
“My HOPE is built on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.”
“Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side; bear PATIENTLY the cross of grief or pain.”
“And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I’ll cast on him my every care,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of PRAYER!”
If you don’t know the Hymns from which the lyrics are quoted, feel free to go to YouTube, search out, and listen. They’re well worth the time!
