Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. James 3:13

I believe Pastor James is cautioning us that it is impossible to comprehend the incomprehensible Infinite; that which is the Triune God of Grace. Instead, rely upon a generous God to guide you in your right living.

Now, this seems awfully familiar. Where have I heard this before?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
    and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
    and he will make straight your paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6
