…be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:18b-20
I look at words like these from the Apostle Paul and wonder how anybody who claims to be faithful would chose to not gather with the Body of Christ each week to make melody to their Lord, and give thanks to him for all things.
Sunday morning (or Saturday for some) is not about the worship of “self.” To the contrary, it is all about the worship of the ONE who “gives us Life and Breath and Everything!” (Acts 17:25)
It’s called “WORSHIP” for a reason, not just for a season!
