To be Toxic, or not to be Toxic – that is the Question
Last week, Godzilla have heart to heart with HitchHiker about HH’s views on social media. He doesn’t participate, and calls it “toxic!”
Godzilla want to be on Facebook (META), but Zuckerberg require last name and human meat-sack sponsor to sign up, kinda like when you see pet cat have own page. So Godzilla beg HitchHiker to go back on after being off twelve years, then let Giant Lizard run show.
HitchHiker explain why he get off before. 2012 election season, and he appalled by portrayals of both presidential candidates by Facebook users. Both men were dehumanized! HitchHiker “unfriended” people who kept posting toxic stuff, always with warning first; he even “unfriend” relative! HitchHiker say that he can’t imagine what 2016, 2020, and 2024 elections were like!
Godzilla still working on HitchHiker because Facebook world needs peaceful love-mischief making character who see Image of God in every human. Big Lizard gave HitchHiker week to get over it.
