Godzilla Gives You

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits… Psalm 103:1-2

HitchHiker once teach Big Lizard about word “soul” – nephesh (נֶפֶשׁ) in Hebrew. It mean life breath imparted to meat-sack by the Divine, or that which is vital to live. It what animates the human heart (seat of emotion and thought) and human might (action). Without it one is, quite simply, D-E-A-D!

So, when Psalmist say, “Bless theLord, O my soul,” it means with ALL of life, breath, and everything.

Godzilla never understand how person can say Jesus is Lord of their life, and yet only give him, at best, a small portion of day or week.

And don’t forget to appreciate and give thanks to “42” for the benefits of life.
