For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age… Titus 2:11-12
What exactly is “ungodliness” or “worldly passions?” Something tells me that it’s all about a choice. Does one choose to live a self-centered life or God-centered life?
If you consider yourself a Christian, what does a God-centered (Christ-centered) life look like? Something tells me that it includes choosing routine participation in the corporate worship of God (this means in person), having consistent conversation and dwelling in the presence of the Divine (this means prayer and reflection), seeking his will as explained within scriptures (that would be Bible study both on your own and with others), and serving others (not only other Christians, but unbelievers as well).
By the way, this is not my list!
Spend some time to see what the teachings of Jesus have to say about worship, prayer, understanding the scriptures, and service, and maybe you will be convicted (or re-convicted) to lead a Christ-centered life in this present age.
