

This Lenten Week’s Hebrew word is my absolute favorite. Often translated simply as PEACE, the word SHALOM is far more complex. This word encompasses completeness in all that you are. When you wish SHALOM upon another, you are speaking about completeness within and beyond them.
According to Dave Adamson in his book, 52 Hebrew Words Every Christian Should Know:
The first believers in God taught that those who follow God should love peace and pursue it, love their neighbors, and attract others to the Scriptures. This is the peace Jesus offers-peace with God, peace of God, and peace with each other.
My friends, I bid you Shalom this week. May you live in the peace, completeness, welfare, well-being, safety, and prosperity of the Author of Life, the Universe, and Everything. In other words…
