So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

Psalm 90:12

When I first read this verse, my mind went to the negative understanding that the days ahead of me come nowhere near the number of days behind me. Gosh, what a bummer!

But then I began to think of it this way: “Lord, teach me to pay attention to every single day and make them count for You. This is how my heart, soul, mind, and actions can love better, be more faithful, pay better attention, and act within each and every day.”

Friends, don’t look back, but instead move forward making everyday an opportunity for growth!
