The Flying Scotsman

Periodically you will see information, pictures, and cartoons that arrive from The Flying Scotsman. When they do, I always give credit where credit is due.

So who is he?

The Flying Scotsman is colleague, pastor. scholar, sage, master genealogist, singer, and (mostly) just a good friend. And yes he is of Scottish heritage.

His timely wisdom rolls into the station as reliably as his namesake; the turn of the century steam engine from the UK.

The Flying Scotsman operated between Edinburgh and London via the East Coast Main Line. The service began in 1862; the name was officially adopted in 1924.
The Flying Scottsman was forever immortalized in
the Thomas the Tank Engine series.

I officially gave this name to my friend in 2019!
