Something to Think About – 2021.07.23

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14

Do you believe in Holy Spirit moments? I do, and today is one of those. The gang at biblegateway.com has this scripture on the schedule for today, and I am using Mark’s version of this passage in a funeral later today.

The funeral is for a young man who was born severely disabled. He was never expected to live more than a handful of years, and yet he lived for almost thirty. He could not form words, walk, or care for himself. And yet, I have never seen a person who could inspire such love. To such belongs the Kingdom of Heaven!

Like a prophet without words, his life spoke truth in the present, and lives were changed.

Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words.
