Don’t Hide It!

And he said to them, “Is a lamp brought in to be put under a basket, or under a bed, and not on a stand? For nothing is hidden except to be made manifest; nor is anything secret except to come to light. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 4:21-23

The kids gave us one of those “smart bulbs” for Christmas. We also received a new even cooler echo dot with way better sound! I placed my old dot in the living room along with the smart bulb. When I walk into the room, I command, “Alexa, let there be light,” and the light comes on. “J” thinks this is sacrilegious, so she simply tells Alexa to turn on the light.

Our living room is one of the darkest rooms in our house; it has no overhead lights. So we have placed no fewer than four lamps in it, one in each corner. When a light is on, things in the area come into focus. Turn on a second light, its location is illuminated, and it adds to the exposure in the room. Add another and another…

Plug us into the powerful energy supply of your Holy Spirit, and let our words, actions, and passion for you be seen, not hidden.
