O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1
Back in August, only weeds on Godzilla’s lawn were truly green; grass was variants of pale. Like many places, rain scarce during summer and drought the norm. So now imagine Psalmist’s soul looks and feels like Godzilla’s lawn.
Psalmist cry out and “search for 42.” Hebrew word here translated “earnestly” say how and when he search; early in the day he diligently seeks God. It is first priority ask 42 to provide life giving water as soul is like dry and weary land.
Godzilla think we all can relate to this feeling sometime. This probably explain why HitchHiker attend another retreat during clergy leave!
