“My Father is working until now, and I am working.”
John 5:17

Ask any kid who loves dinosaurs how their beloved “giant lizards” became extinct, and they will give you myriad answers. Still, almost everyone leads down the path of a cataclysmic event where these fantastic animals fail to adapt.
The same holds for every human system. Look at the great empires of the ancient world: Mesopotamia, Aztecs, Egypt, Greece, Rome, etc., etc., etc. You will find that their extinctions resulted from a combination of change, a failure to adapt, and long-term decline.
Now, back to our friends, the dinosaurs. An occasional kid will tell you that the dinosaurs are not extinct; some simply adapted to the change. They will point you to the sparrow, hummingbird, duck, and turkey. They will tell you of the eagle and the owl, the emu and penguin, and yes, let us not forget Big Bird!
This applies to human systems as well. Many have become extinct because they failed or refused to change, but some systems adapted to their brave new worlds and live even today.
HitchHiker Theorem #1 – Only two things in life are constant: The Creator of Life, the Universe, and Everything…. and Change.
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change. James 1:17
