Often I remind people that God is God, and we are not. Unfortunately, too often, human pride, that primordial (original) sin, takes over. We bite this tainted “fruit” to be like God and know all good and evil. Our free will makes us think we can be the masters of our destinies.
Inevitably, it happens; our eyes are opened by a lightning strike of life that stops us in our tracks, and we realize just how vulnerable we truly are. Then perspective flows in. For 42’s WAYS are not our ways, and his THOUGHTS are not our thoughts!
42 is the CREATOR;
we are the created.
42 is the REDEEMER;
we are the redeemed.
42 is the INSPIRER;
we are the inspired.
