Daddy, I don’t feel so good.

Emesis is the involuntary, forceful expulsion of the contents of one’s stomach through the oral cavity and sometimes the nasal passages. It can result from poisoning, disease, motion sickness, pregnancy, excess gorging, purging, or a hangover. (a.k.a. vomit, puke, throw-up, up-chuck, disgorge, spew, heave, barf, retch, hurl)
Isn’t it interesting how cultural upset is leading us to nauseousness? Decades of intolerance without compromise from every direction have brought us to this present darkness. It may likely result from a slow poisoning of idolatry alongside pendulum-like extremism. We have also gorged upon self-centeredness, pride, nationalism, and consumerism. Maybe it is from the overindulgence in narcotics and spirits of power, and the only way we think we can satiate our nausea is by consuming more of “the hair of the dog that bit us.” Or maybe we have a disorder where we enjoy purging.
Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly. Proverbs 26:11
And the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah out upon the dry land.
Jonah 2:10
You shall keep my statutes and my rules and do none of these abominations, either the native or the stranger who sojourns among you, lest the land vomit you out when you make it unclean, as it vomited out the nation that was before you. Leviticus 18:26-28
So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth. Revelation 3:16 (“J” insisted I add this.)
On the hopeful side, maybe we’re just pregnant!
